Ellie Goulding was born Elena Jane Goulding in Hereford on December 30, 1986. Ellie Goulding, a British musician and singer who gained fame in the year 2010 when her smash singles Guns and Horses and Starry Eyed caught public attention. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary artist due to her soprano voice and talent for writing songs that are both catchy and emotional. Her style is similar to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists of the same ilk. Polydor Records offered her a deal as a major label. The singer began to work on her preparations for her release.
