Sharp was born within Rochester (New York) and embraced the world of music. In the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello as well as piano. The passion she had for theatre in school inspired her to enroll at The Boston Conservatory, where she was awarded an award. Cum Laude awarded Sharp a B.F.A. at the Conservatory, Sharp set her sights on the stage. She performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel and debuted off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Sharp has also performed in Abyssinia as well as Aida in addition to Thunder Knockin Jitney as well as The Producers. She was even a reading partner of August Wilson's Come and Gone. In addition to her work both on stage and the screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she has written or co-written. Sharp continues to perform and is in the process of putting together an album of full length. When she's not working either front of or behind the camera or recording in the studio the music of her choice, Sharp has a love for fitness, and is always in fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well along with hiking, and taking long roadstrips. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
