Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is a famous American author, and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is currently an adjunct professor of law in New York Law School. In the past she served as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She's been a legal analyst for the National Public Radio's radio program along with The Radio Factor hosted by Bill O'Reilly. She was a regular guest for The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and she graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Barnard College, followed by a master of arts in literature from the University of Queensland, in 1985.
Wiehl served as prosecutor for the US Attorney's office. She was a legal reporter for NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's re-election. From 1995 until 2001, she was a tenured professor at the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle in which she was the director of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl was a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
