Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress, best known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. After that, she acted on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it big in the National Theatre. Her album, It's Too Late for Tina the in the same year. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. The film received widespread applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. While in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationships with Lee Strasberg. Her next role that she portrayed was Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully play between Broadway as well as Hollywood portraying somber character as opposed her perceived image as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she also became a well-known director on popular TV series like Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birth date was the 28th of August, 1965 in Essex. At the age of three, her family relocated her to Toronto where she lived her childhood. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the role of lead.
